7 card stud is the most popular and well known of all poker games that is available at poker sites. It has many verities that are played throughout the world. Maximum of 8 players can take part in this play stud poker.

Seven card stud contains totally five betting rounds in an entire game excluding the ante. While beginning the game every poker player from the place to the left of the dealer button position, is dealt two cards face down, then four cards face up, and the last (river) card is dealt face down.

Poker rules and action for 7 Card Stud:

All players ante (except for the $0.50/$1 game which has no ante), and the every player is dealt two cards face-down called hole cards and one card face-up called door card.

Play stud poker:

· First betting round starts

· After first betting round, every player is dealt one card face-up (4th street)

· Then second betting round continues

· Followed by it Every player is dealt with an additional card face-up (5th street)

· Third betting round starts

· Every player is dealt one more card face-up after third betting round(6th street)

· Fourth betting round follows

· Every player is dealt a last card face-down (river)

· Final betting round

· Showdown

· At the showdown, to create the top probable poker hand, players can apply any 5 of their 7 cards.
